Madhavan liplock with Kangna Ranaut

Madhavan has done a liplock with co-star Kangna Ranaut in Tanu Weds Manu, though he said that he would not kiss on-screen after his smooch with Vidya Balan in Mani Ratnam's Guru.

Director Aanand L Rai said, "The sweetness of the scene required to be justified with a kiss. It's a funny romantic situation, where Manu falls for Tanu and wants to marry her."

Madhavan was uncomfortable puckering up his lips. Kangna Ranaut, being an understanding co-star gauged his hesitation and made him comfortable.

The scene has Madhavan come to see Kangna Ranaut before marriage. But she doesn't want to marry him and turns up drunk to put him off. Yet he falls in love with her at first sight and indulges in a liplock.
