Robert Pattinson realised the dream of a young fan when he dropped by her home unexpectedly this week.
Maria Mele entered a competition of chat show host Oprah Winfrey, hoping for the chance to attend an interview with her Twilight idols.
The lucky lady received a much greater gift, however, when Robert Pattinson turned up on her doorstep.
"My family and I all lost it," Maria tells a US magazine. We were screaming like a bunch of maniacs. We were all amazed that he was in our house."
Robert, 23, stayed for about 10 minutes and "was great," Maria says. "So nice. Funny. And so tall! He was beautifully flawless and a great sport."
"Robert was genuinely happy to fulfill our dream. "I still can't believe it."
