Popstar Lady Gaga gave a special surprise to 12-year-old Greyson Michael Chance, who became a viral hit on Youtube after covering her track ''Paparazzi'', by giving him a congratulatory telephone call. GaGa told him how much she liked his cover of her superhit single, much to the shock and delight of Chance, who is being touted as the next Justin Beiber.

As if that wasn''t surreal enough, Chance got the shock of his life when Gaga, his idol, called the show and said she was impressed by his version of her hit single. "You''re so sweet and so talented.
I was so excited that you covered Paparazzi. Everyone loves you so much, so just keep following your dreams, work really hard and stay away from girls and be focused.
You''ve already won over everyone''s hearts, so just have fun," she told her young fan. Chance, who, with his swept haircut, is being compared to teen singing sensation Justin Bieber, was left open-mouthed.
"No way. Hi Miss Gaga," said Chance.
He told Ellen that said although he had been learning the piano, he had never received any vocal training. Chance also wowed the Ellen show by reprising his cover of the song.
